It works just fine in MA during the cold months. I think you'll be okay in WV

Do you need to upgrade fuel pump?

No

And will I need to purchase a custom tune or will the tuner it comes with be good to go?

I believe the version w/ tuner includes the cost of the tunes from Bamachips. Doug would need to send you the tune for your specific car though
Why not take it to Epping and see what it does in the 1/4? Do you have any hassle passing emissions in Massachusetts?

X-Charger #114 is on its way. I'm so excited, I've been waiting for this day for 2 years now.

I have every intention of doing so. I need to replace the clutch first though. It's currently ok for street driving, but it'll slip on a track launch. I've got a Fidanza flywheel on the way that I'm going to pair up with a Centerforce Dual Friction as soon as it gets here.

Passed MA emissions no problem last year

I suggest you start practicing an ear-to-ear grin now. After you get it installed, you're going to be smiling so much your face will hurt.

okay i was reading all of this and so basically the 2.8 pulley isnt worth it until you have the intercooler and other good stuff for it to run smooth...and the 3.0 will work perfectly..

3.0 is fine for daily use. You will see some benefit from the 2.8 without supporting mods, but it's better with the Wet-X or intercooling.

My X finally arrived but the tuner has not. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get the tuner? Also is it possible to change the gear ratio when you tune car after X is installed? I noticed that they had the wrong gear ratio on the sheet that came with my X charger.
