Default RE: V6 NOS?

I use the zex kit...100 shot with NGK TR6 plugs gaped at .34and the zex window switch set to turn on at 2500. I have already gone thru more than 10 bottles , with both street and track use, and no problems so far(knock on wood). You can hide all the switches and stuff under the dash..but if they check your trunk they will see the braketsand in the engine bay they will notice the nitrous NMU with all the braided lines coming in and out of it. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...103_145613.htmcouple of runs on the 100 shot...including the 13.5 one.

I was watching Muscle Car on TV and they did a segment on the Mustang Blocks cracking from Nitrous/SC the block will actually twist and crack, the fix was some supports under the intake Manifold that run side to side after you drill a 1/4 hole for some alignment pins. Anyone see that?
I saw that one, interesting fix, but like Rygen said, thatwas only for the V8

I just sent you a msg..

but I really think the Zex kit made for the 2005+ Mustang is the very best for our car.
It electronically mixes the Nitrous and fuel and the mini computer module that comes with it adjust for lean/rich automatically and this also helps when bottle pressure gets lower..

In other kits you have to buy WOT switches.. the Zex kit made for our car is progammed by holding down the gas pedal.. and learning WOT.. so when you arm the Zex.. it knows the WOT it gives nitrous at the appropriate time safely..

Also V6 owners.. if you dont want to use the 75 shot.. buy the jets seperately for 55 or 65 shot for the Zex

You get about NINE to TEN 1/4 mile runs off a 100 shot ( thats using it the entire 1/4 mile ) in a 10 lb bottle ..

If you don't want cause premature wear in you 4.0 liter V6 .. absolutely don't use more then a 100 shot in a V6 .. use 75 if you want to play it safe.. If you want to be conservative like I'm thinking.. buy 65 or even 55 shot nozzles from Zex .. they have them in their catalog on the website and you can call them.

With a 55 shot .. using it sparingly .. 3 or 5 seconds at a time when needed I think it'd be a cheap way for power on demand.. at about $25-$30 per refill of nitrous..
