I can see that comment. With the bright red paint, and the round tailights you have on there, it does look a little Ferrari-like from the rear at least.

+1 to that I've had 3 people in the last 2 days ask me is that the new challengar? I tried hard not to laugh and told them it was a mustang, they then looked at the hood pins and said oh yah must be that new shelby gt500 right with the hood pins&carbon hood? To which I again told them no it's just a V-6 with shelby hood pins&a carbon hood they then say well nice car still think it looks like the new challengar. lol the best was on monday when I was walking up to and a guy was walking around it with his son had to be maybe 3 years old the kid was like daddy can I ride in it, I smiled as I walked up and the guy asks me is this some kind of Ferrari? I get a lot of the GT500 comments I guess because of the Shelby hood pins&carbon hood?
Anyways being compared to a car that costs more than twice what I paid for my house and are still for the most part hand built in Italy was pretty awesome

yo 4literv6, just looked at the pics of your car.....thats one BAMF car dude.

I recently took my Pony to FORD to have the FRPP Dual kit installed. I wanted it covered by the warranty, and I wanted my bumper guaranteed if they screwed up cutting it. The mechanic did an excellent install for $250.00 then test drove it afterwards. When I was paying for the work, I looked out the window and noticed my mechanic, and several others "oogling" the car and nodding their heads approvingly while looking at the new exhaust.

I walked outside and a few of the mechanics asked me about taking it for a spin, so they could hear the pipes, and test the CAI that my installation mechanic had noticed earlier. I let all of them (3) take it around the block a few times. (with me in it of course)

They all had good things to say about the exhaust tone, CAI, and overall "feel" of the car. One guy commented about how "spotless" I kept my Pony. One of them asked if it was a 2008? Had I wet sanded it? Another said my car "would stand out in any crowd." ....coming from guys that probably see Pony's all day long.....I was flattered.

That's a great compliment!

That reminds me that it's been a year since I bought mine, which was a bone stock '07 V6 Grabber Orange 4.0. I need to "drop by" and show my salesman where I've taken it.

i've received a slew of compliments and a handful of stories but one that really sticks out happened yesterday. i was making my way out of the mall parking lot when this mom was loading things into her soccer mom van, the trunk was open and one of her kids was peering over the seat out through the trunk.. the mom says look at this car coming up honey.. the kid catches my car and i hear "WHOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" all the way up the exit ramp. lol that has got to be the best I've received yet.

One of the my favorite things about our cars is how it turns grown men into little kids! I've seen truckers practically climb out of their seat to get a better look! It never gets old!
