There may already be a thread explaining this out there, but I haven't been able to find one yet. I'm not big into drag racing, but the road to my house has lots of nice curves and I love cornering and running around the back roads. What kind of supercharger would be best for me? I'm looking for a s/c that can keep up with me while I'm running around those back roads.
So, my question is: Which is better for this? A Vortech s/c, a Procharger, or an Xcharger? I think I've ruled out a turbo, but I'm not as sure between these.
If this question has been answered before (and it probably has), if you could post a link to that thread/article, that would be awesome too.
Thanks!

I think that most will say that the x-charger is best for the situation you described. I also want to know the differece between the three as far as power and ease of install and how the power is spread across the RPM's

as far as peak power
xcharger<vortech<procharger<turbo
best torque shelf
vortech<procharger<xcharger<turbo
quickest to reach max boost
vortech=procharger<turbo<xcharger

You asked about ease of installation; X-Charger is by far the easiest to install, almost everyone who bought one did the install them selves. I'm biased, but I think the X is the best choice for what you describe. Also research failure rates of the various systems and you will find the X has the lowest incident of broken motors, and the ones that did break were due to bad tunes or combining NoS.
