lowering springs
I went with Bilstein HD front struts and HD rear shocks, and H&R Sport Springs to slightly lower the car (1 inch front & 3/4 inch rear). So far only have the rear items installed. The rear is a breeze compared to the front. One great thing about the rear Bilstein shocks is that they come with very heavy duty attachment hardware, specifically the rubber bushings that fit over the top of the shock and bolt up inside the trunk. These babies are thick and very firm, they're not gonna squish down to nothing and will last a very long time - great quality point! +1 for Bilstein. The shocks and H&R springs are a very good combination for the V6 Mustang. I bought all the special tools for the front strut and spring installation. Still need to get a vice to mount on my workbench to assemble the new strut components (spring and upper damper bearing). If you're gonna do the front install yourself, really do your homework on what to do and what you'll need. Take care, Jack.
