That statement right there speaks volumes...

I am not trying to bust on you, really...but there are many old timers here that know what they are talking about.

Doing 130 on a track is dangerous, but one has dramatically better control over the environment and you mitigate a majority of the risks involved in high speed travel. No wildlife, no trash, propper road surface, no obstacles...etc. Those variables are what will put you in your grave on the street.

Your tune, whether SCT or Diablo, must be setup to remove or change the top-speed limiter.

Taking out 2 cylinders wont help

Yep, I don't have custom tunes, and under modifying/creating tunes taking it off is one of my options. I don't go over 75mph on highways anyway for safety reasons and losing my car/ticket reasons.

It could happen going downhill with a tailwind.

i usually drive between about 70. ill kick it when many people aint around im not dumb enough to risk many peoples lives. but my mom bought an 06 gli jetta other day 6 speed turbo and i got it to 175 theres some pretty good stretchs here.

question i was gonna go xcharger but i think for a while ill just get a tuner. how fast can a good tuner/intake let me run. and im pretty sure once u hook the tuner up of anykind it takes the speed limiter off. i know it did on my old trucks i messed around with
