I wouldn't advise trying to max out your car with the stock driveshaft. The 05s were especially prone to breakage because they lack a clip that holds the u-joint together. On my 06 I used my xcal to put the limiter back in place at 115, although I wouldn't go that fast anyway.

I've had my car for over a year now and I think the fastest I've gone is 80-90 MPH. Its my daily driver and I have no reason to do 100+. The car isn't all that fast since its mostly stock, so I really don't find the thrill in trying to max it out.

So I maxed it out this weekend just to see what it could do as soon as it hit 115 I let off.

Plus it was on a country highway that I have seen about 10 cars on in 2 years

Also these cars aren't really meant to hit really high speeds they are supposed to get you there quick and only stay their for a 1/2 mile max
