The intercooler upgrade is not a complete new kit, just the components required for the intercooler. (the install does require changing the intake manifiold to a shorter version)
I've spoken to Dave several times and not known him to "avoid" any questions. He's a straight up guy with honest answers and NOT out to scr*$w anyone. I can understand him not wanting to give you a price on an intercooler upgrade kit that's not on the market yet. (If that's what you condsider avoiding the question)
When was the last time you spoke with him? If you actually have and it's been recently, you should have this information. (your last forum post looks like Oct sometime)

Thats where I got confused perhaps. But I think its more clear now. I thought before the IC would be around $3000 and so, combine that with the initial cost of the X-Charger, it would come out to around $7000. Though I must have had that wrong.

And by avoiding, I mean he never actually said whether I would need to pretty much but the XTREME kit or if I could buy just the components for the IC....but maybe he didn't understand my question well.

Anyhow. Okay, so, there will be a way to buy the IC by itself..

Let me explain it this way... I took a friend for a ride today to a remote area, (he has a GT) and from a stop I punched it and turned left (I have an auto) and I instantly broke loose the tires and did this awesome sideways slide all the way around the corner and up the on street. It was like something out of the movies, super charger screaming (weeeeeeeeeeee) tires squeeling (screeeeeeeeee) front tires pointing forward, back tires smokin screaming around the corner.. I am telling you, it is as close to sex with a car you can get with your clothes on.

Needless to say after that my friend was like "holy crap, that was awesome".

hey all of you out there. just finished reading up on all the hype over the x-charger and the new intercooler coming out and i just had a few questions. i have a 2005 v6 and was very set on turning it into a Shelby CS6 untill i stubled onto the x-charger.

1)When is the intercooler coming out
2)What will the price be
3)What is the price of the x-charger and the intercooler togeather once the intercooler is released
3)and last how do i get in contact with this dave or the company that makes the x-chargers so i can ask them more questions
