HI,
I am on a realistic quest for more hp. The v6 has 210 hp stock . My personal goal for HP numbers is 255hp . Without nitrous or supercharger.
If you have any suggestions for a single upgrade or a list to help me achieve this goal. I think that 45-50 hp is a reasonable goal.
Please list the upgrade, hp gain and the $$ amount for the upgrade.
Here is the hard part. Be realistic on the hp gains (low ball every hp number)

First, that 210 HP is at the crank not at the rear wheels where it really matters. So realistically you are looking at 180rwhp.
A CAI/Tune and dual exhaust setup will gain you about 20rwhp and make a huge difference in your car. Anything past that you will need to get a power adder (supercharger, nitrous). You cannot realistically get 50-60rwhp without it.

20rwhp is how much hp at the crank ? I understand the Rwhp vs hp at the crank.
if the percent difference is the same than 20 rwhp is 23.3333 (23 crank hp)
ASP 2005 + Mustang V6 Underdrive Pulley Part# 526400 $238.99
the dyno sheet says 12hp and 16lbs of torque . So I will be consevitive and say 10 crank hp.
23 hp for the CAI and tune
10 hp for Underdrive Pulley

Well if you're fishing for HP, I'd say invest in a nitrous kit. Then you can say you have the horsepower, but you really only have that quickness when you press the juice button.
If you want your car to be quicker and more fun all around for every day driving, I'd say gears/posi and CAI/tune will make you happy.

just because something advertises a certain HP gain doesn't mean it'll give you that. Real life gains almost never reach the advertised gains.
I wouldn't be surprised if you got 7 or so though
