i guess what i'm asking is how quickly does it accelarate when already driving at 55+ (i.e. passing gear, etc.). i know gt's are much better than sixers at this, and i'm just wondering if the x levels the playing field and provides comparable acccelaration when already driving at higher speeds...if that makes any sense (and for the record i'm not very adept at reading dyno sheets...

You're right, the GT keeps pulling as opposed to the stock 4.0 that kinda loses the grunt at a certain point. The X keeps pulling too, that's for sure! I don't have a 55-80 time or anything, but the can at least hang with the GT if not beat the GT at pulling up top

i saw a youtube clip where a x-charged v6 was racing a GT at the strip. don't know what other mods were involved in both cars but the v6 took the GT easily from launch to halfway but then the GT caught up and beat it at the end. it was probably an MF member's car. i'm sure more details are needed to determine what really happened but based off the clip, the X is extremely impressive from a dig but just seemed to run out of steam down the stretch.
