Been looking at parts and I've always loved the Pony Package Grille and fog lights together. But that grille and everything is a little to much money. Also about a year ago I got a pretty bad tear on my front bumper to the extent I may need body work done on the car. So I was looking at new take off parts and saw this...http://www.newtakeoff.com/mustang_gt...2005-2008.aspx. For the price Im getting a GT grille and a whole new bumper for about half of what I would be paying.
Ok 3 questions...
1) Where can I get a factory wiring harness complete with the switch and everything that would be found on GT normally
2) Is there any other things I will need to install it, is there other parts to buy or will it fit a v6 flush?
3) Can I simply use my existing lower yellow blinker lights on the Gt bumper?

I used the street scene harness, which is available most
everywhere.. also try on ebay, several which use the
GT switch for a clean look. S/S harness can be used with
either a GT switch or with their standard rocker switch which
installs in the standard V6 headlight switch.

1. You can get one from a salvage yard but that point is moot.
The switch is usable but it communicates with the SJB and
unless the programming is there, it wont work with the stock
GT fog light harness (its the same as the PP fog light harness
sans the pigtail adapters). Here is the wiring diagram so you can confirm I know what I am talking about.
You will need a fuse and a relay for the BEC, the complete wiring
harness (the fog harness is not seperate but intergrated into the
engine management harness as well) and replace the whole non fog
light harness with the fog light equipped harness. Then get Ford to
reprogram your SJB with the as built data from a similar stang like
yours that has the fog light logic. Way to far to go for the keepin
it concoures OEM theme.
I did one on my stang and it functions like OEM without going thru
the SJB and without using its missing logic but retained the use of a
PP/GT headlight switch.
PM me and I can get you the low down for an OEM function/look install.
2. inner GT fender liners and a GT stone deflector. Search and

3.Yes, the front turn signals are the same for the V6 and GT front facias.

So if the SMJ is not setup to handle the fog light wiring from a factory GT switch, I suppose you can just bypass the SMJ and put in your own relay and related wiring.
Looking at the diagram, the SMJ probably just makes sure the lights are on only at certain times, or turn off after the car is turned off or something. The SMJ is simply in series with the switch that would ground the relay coil to energize it and thus feed power to the lights.
The stock headlight switch is already wired to the SMJ, even on my V6 with no fog lights; but the stock switch does not have a foglamp setting. Getting a GT switch or pony package switch with lights would have the switch function. You can buy the switch, which is what I did (sorry, no part number handy).
Once I get my lights installed, I'll be working on the wiring to connect it up and make them work, too, but I don't plan on buying any kind of wiring harness for them.
So the real question will be if the SMJ already handles the circuit as shown in the diagram or if some mod to is it needed. Then the relay is not likely in the fuse/relay box under the hood, but is the wiring there for it?

I used the GT headlight switch, and used the fog light wire where
it went to the SJB. Cut it and extended it to under the hood.
Stole power from the OEM fog light fuse location in the BEC.
Stole ground from the gronding bolt right above the passengers
side headlight. Stole high beam signal from the passengers side
headlight harness. Wired a 40AMP fog light relay to be sinked
from the sinking fog light wire from the OEM GT headlight switch.
The last wire goes from the fog light connection on the relay
back to the headlight switch for the fog light indicator LED showing
that in fact the fog lights are getting 12VDC all the way to them
(good fuse, good relay, good wiring) not just that they 'should' be on.
Another additional logic reed relay makes the fogs come on
whenever the high beams are on unconditionally.
The mechanical lockout in the GT headlight switch makes me
turn on my clearance lights before I can pull out the fog swicth
so the chime for leaving your lights on prevents accidentally
leaving your non OEM SJB logic wired fog lights on.
The SJB is for logic functions. Its easier to write a line of code
than it is to hard wire the fogs to only be on when the high
beams are off and the 10 minute non moving auto power down
feature. By-pass the SJB when wiring the fogs manually with relays.
The relay for the fogs is under the hood in the BEC and the
SJB just provides a sigal at the right time to turn the relay on
in turn powering the fogs.

Thanks, as always for your solid, no nonsense info. I believe
I'll try your approach on the fog light wiring set up. I don't
like the limitations with S/S's sourcing. You always hit it out
of the park and your thoroughness is extremely impressive and
appreciated.
