Kind of a silly question ... I bought a 2009 Mustang Deluxe V6 today, and cannot for the life of me find the trip reset button. The book says its right under the speedometer, however there is no button there, not even a hole where the button would be. Can anybody help me out? Does it even have a trip meter? Or could it be I have some weird trip meter-less car? Any help would be appreciated.

Unless they've changed something after all these years you should see a button comig right through the lens of the gauge right under the odometer. It and is black and is very narrow. If you're already displaying the trip mileage then you've found it. Just hold it down until the meter resets to zero.

Do you have the 4 or 6 gauge cluster? If you have 6, you press info till the trip odo displays, then press the reset button.
Do you have "My Color?" Because the Reset button is on the dash board with 2 other buttons. Check out this diagram, your Mustang's dash cluster is like the second one;
