Bad part is you can wash and wax, and seal the car with all sorts of products, but no matter what you do, if you drive the car, you will get dings, chips, scrapes, scratches, etc... Nothing stays perfect forever, no matter how good you take care of it... Unless you get it the entire car stripped and re-painted/clear-coated every 3 to 5 years.

O7 in Sept 07 and now about 5500 miles. Does get wet sometimes but will never see snow if I can help it! I do drive it to work occasionally but that is only a 25 mile round trip.

Wow, that's a lot of miles! Any problems? What have you replaced or had to have fixed?

Yeah, I guess if I drove it everyday through rain or shine it would have a crust of dirt too, but I have 4 vehicles to choose from. I choose to drive the Mustang only on pretty days, so it never gets dirty. It might get a little dust but I take care of that before I put my car cover back on it.
One time I was getting ready to pass through a road that is next to a golf course when their sprinklers came on. They were shooting water in the road so I stopped, turned around and went another way home just to avoid getting my car wet. I know.....I'm crazy.

Only trip back to dealer was for frozen parking brake TSB. I've done all of the regular maintenance myself, new tires and switched to Tokico shocks / struts @ 88K. I commute 120 miles a day pretty easy highway stuff but still have been very pleased with overall reliability.

Man-O-Man....more power to those with the extremely low mileage cars...you know who you are. I don't know how you do it. I had to go about a week without my car recently due to work being done on it and I thought I was going to go crazy not being able to drive it.

I think I'm addicted to my stang
