Default I am a college student and VMP is ripping me off.

So I have been dealing with a sputtering intake from VMP for 6 months. I have wasted gas money driving out there and still no results. My car has kept sputtering from the VMP intake and sometimes would not allow me to get to my destination.

After ordering a C&L intake from a friend I have asked for a refund from Justin and now he wants to only give me $50 store credit? I believe he wanted me to purchase another intake (thus giving him more money) from him and use the $50 credit towards that.

What am I supposed to do with that after spending $450 on the combo that doesn't work? I am honestly just frustrated because I keep pumping money into this ordeal that I don't have just so I can drive.

Have you been able to duplicate the problem for Justin?
Are you sure it's not a fuel pump or filter issue?
Have you returned to stock and had the problem go away?

I previosly had a c and l which worked perfect with a bama tune. I had to sell that for money issues. Honestly I am sick and tired of the customer service I have received. I am glad I saved my bama tunes on my computer.

Justin has had my car on the dyno and seen the problem personally so that's why I'm suprised I can't just get my fifty bucks.

I think I know what GrayPony was asking. Have you reset everything back to stock (intake and tune) to see if your problem persists? I'm not saying your problem isn't the tune, but it could be something else causing your problem (you didn't go into specifics as to what's happening). If your bama tunes worked with the C&L intake, can you get a C&L from VMP with that store credit? Hope you can get your ride fixed up quickly...

The stock filter works with the tune. That's the last thing we tried. I got the c and l already through a great deal by a friend so I can't go through vmp with credit now. All I want is to be done with spending money.

with you having gone to VMP in person, it seems that all steps to resolve would have been taken... especially from the guy who wrote the tunes. i'm surprised that VMP has been getting some unsatisfactory reviews lately. hopefully everything gets cleared up. good luck.
