Last night coming home. Anyone know anything on those little Mazdaspeed 3's? Holy crap he was leaving me like I was standing still. I have no idea if he was modded or what. I bet it could bend over a GT too.

lol... have you read the specs on those little demons? not a surprise you got smoked. it is a F/I car. it would be interesting to see one go heads up with a GT or better yet... an X-charged 4.0

a high 6 second 0-60 time on a stock V6 Mustang yes, but against a 5 second GT when a fast Mazdaspeed 3 runs 5.5 or higher it won't happen. That light little Mazda w/263 hp is quick. But would you want anyone to see you in it ? If you get in a roll on race you're at a disadvantage with a turbo car. Out of the lights and through 2nd gear you'll have a shot. Most stoplight races are no more than a couple gears anyway. Pick the battles you can win or at least have a chance at.

Yeah those are 2 different animals. After researching I found the Mazdaspeed 3 has 280 lb/ft. of torque to boot. That's a bunch for such a small car. It looked cool but didn't look that fast. After reading up it's faster than a Subaru Wrx but not the Sti. Maybe my '01 GT could of taken it but doubt it as hp is the same and I got a heavier car.
