Default New SS Gen I Frt Bumper Cover Pics

I got rear ended for the second time in 2 years a few months back, this car is like a magnet or something. I got a GT takeoff in Windveil (2nd one now!) so used the extra money to paint the front bumper cover that I bought last fall -Street Scene Gen I
I had the lower lip painted textured black to mach the rockers and to keep touch up easy. I know some hate the black rockers but I don't. Anyway I think I need to paint the Rear GT lip next to carry the theme through. The flame retardant suit is on so fire away
link for pics

If anyone is interested I have a slightly tweaked drivers side mid-pipe and a cut but repairable GT rear cover available for trade or something.

Could it be on the hosting (picasa/google) side?
Can I embed a flash object? I tried with no success.

Nice. Looks great with it painted to match the rockers. I have the same bumper and I too haven't really scrapped much. No visible marks yet.

Hey... How do you like that hood? Who makes it? Been thinking about getting a hood like that. Looks SWEET!

I have this bumper also and I love the look of it... I really like how aggressive it looks... I personally like how you've painted the bottom of yours black and the side skirts as well... I saw paint the bottom of the rear bumper too... it would definitely tie it all together

Thanks. I like the hood over all. Nice and light only 13lbs, fit & finish is decent but not show quality. The cowl rise is higher than I wanted and everyone wonders how I see over it. It isn't too bad plus you can actually peak through the back vents and out the front ones to get a little extra visibility in tight spots. I've since learned that the clear coat on any of the CF hoods just doesn't hold up very well when used as a daily driver. Style wise I felt it was too aggressive for the stock bumper and didn't complement the lines like it should. I knew the new bumper cover would work well with the design of the hood and I am happy with how they compliment each other and work with the original styling of the car.
I bought the hood a the Fords at Carlisle swap meet from a guy that distributed them out of Florida. Don't see his ebay listing anymore but this looks like the same one I have. I think the brand is BodyXtreme on mine but they all probably come from China anyway.
