Where is the best place to mount a wide band sensor? I have my rear O2 sensors turned off, I'm thinking for convenience sake, driver's side rear O2 is best. What would be better for diagnostic and monitoring procedures?

The sensor must go before any cats, and preferably as close to the stock front sensor as possible. If you put the sensor after the cat, it will not properly read the air-fuel ratio.
Some wb setups support using the single stock bung and in place of the stock sensor, splicing into wiring as needed and provided by the wideband sensor circuitry to simulate the stock narrow band sensor function. I think most people prefer to use the separate dedicated wideband setup instead, to keep your stock front O2 sensors as-is.
