question about bamachips

well since i cant seem to get in contact with anyone at bamachips, can someone tell me whether the custom tunes from them remove the rev limiter or just move it higher even if i dont tell them to?

My 91 octane tunes were set at 6350 from Bama. I lowered them to 6150.
I also lowered the WOT shift MPH -2 MPH. For a 5900 WOT shift.

His tunes will raise the rev limiter but not remove them. You never want them removed unless you know what your doing and are prepared for a failure.

The neutral rev limiter is lower than when in drive.

If anyone IS able to get through to them at bama, tell them to call me!

I guess they are to busy to return phone calls or emails. Soon I will be contacting paypal to get my money back and order from brenspeed. I ordered a C&L/Xcal3 on 7/29

I would for sure cancel the order and go with Brenspeed, I waited for 2 weeks for my Bama tunes and never got a response. I then when to Brenspeed and I got the tuner in a week from when I ordered it.

they have v6 CAIs but don't offer a tuner combo on their site. I am sure with a phone call or email they will sell us a combo.

I am another sufferer of Bamachip's support...

I tried to get a tune altered two months ago. When I first e-mail them they said they would send me an updated tune, 2 months and nada.

I've tried calling them too, but thats a joke.
