I am considering a few suspension mods for my 09 mutang v6. What I have in mind is front tower brace, subframe connectors, rear track bar, and upgrade front strut plates to start with. I only have about $400 to spend. Any other sugggestions besides lowering it. I considered lowering it but the roads here are ruff with Lots of chuck holes and speed bumps so lowering would not be a good an idea. thanks guys

If you put some good springs/shocks/struts on it, you will not need to worry about the speed bumps or potholes anymore than you do now. It may not be a soft cushy ride over the bumps, but you will feel more control.
The first thing should be springs/shocks.. other things in order
rear sway w/ poly bushings
front sway w/poly bushings
anything else would be pointless without better springs/shocks.

Oh, some LCA's would be good too.

Front strut plates?
Strut tower brace is cosmetic only.
Subframe connectors, why?
Same for the track bar....
Whats wrong with the OEM panhard bar?
How bout getting some GT sway bars under there first.
And then HP upgrades to warrant the subframe connectors...
stock strut plates are fine with stock suspension and hp.
strut tower brace, a profit vehicle for companies making them, save your dough for when you DO need something.
sub frame connectors, if you're pushing your car hard enough to know you need them, get them. But you won't find the limits with your stock suspension, save your dough.
track bar, only needed to center the rear end if you lower or raise the rear.
GT sway bars are cheap, and a good first mod.
Good advice 157db

OK so I was looking at struts and shocks the srt/t ones from koni they any good? also I was considering the sway bars but wasnt sure what to get. I dont do many suspension mods for handeling corners. I do like how the car handles stock to a point. just kinda felt a lil more body roll so I figured stiffing up the chassis would help. I found a really nice curvy switch back road up here and really pushed the car and my self hard to see how well it handled and what if any mods I wanted. My car came with the 18" wheels and BFG 235X50-18 tires its the 45th AV Edition. not sure if that makes a difference or not. could be just an apperance package for all I know about these cars. so thanks for the advice I will look into the fornt and rear sway bars and keep looking at the koni struts and shocks.

you have front sway bars already, all the S197s do. You may or may not have a rear bar.

Its just smaller than the GT front sway.
If you dont have a PonyPackage, then
you dont have a rear sway bar.
Get GT front/rear take-off sways for cheapola
and some poly bushings to start.

OK this is for all who reponded thanks as for the take offs Iam looking at a complete GT500 suspension off a 2007, Here is a link to my questions about it.
Do not get the springs, your car will sit even higher since the springs are made for the GT500 (heavier set car). Since our car is lighter, it wont sit down as much as on a regular GT500
