Default Smoked Headlight Covers

Hey I'm debating whether or not to get the smoked headlight covers for my '07 White Mustang. I've seen them on other white mustangs and they look amazing but I'm worried about the legal aspect. Does anybody know if http://www.americanmuscle.com/05-mus...ht-covers.html <--- these are legal in the state of Florida? My friend told me about him getting pulled over for having the Tail Light Smoked Covers and the cop made him rip them off and I really don't want to spend 60$ on something that I'll be forced to remove in the next month. Thanks alot.

they are ILLEGAL in FL, but GTS makes headlight covers that can be put on for shows and special events and stuff like that. During the day they don't car tooo much, but at night your screwed if you have them on.

www.americanmuscle.com carries them, but im sure you could find them elsewhere...

I bought these, but had a problem with them staying in place. They didn't come off completely, but loose. I eventually used velco to keep them in place. Another disadvantage, stang-aholic is right at night is really bad. Especially when there are no street lights.

I ended up getting these instead. Getting upgraded bulbs are a good idea also.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm not sure what I'm going to end up doing. I would love to get those bulbs but thats way outta price range for my budget.

They look really good, I haven't heard about visibility problems until now but that makes plenty of sense. I'm about to purchase them so i'll let you know how that goes.

You can't really drive with them at night unless you also have driving or fog lights. I take mine off when I will be driving in rain or poorly lit roads.. that said.. the good thing about the GTS covers is that you can take them off in a matter of seconds.

technology needs to step up so that you can get the "smoked" appearance without headlight dimmness. i'd be all over those.
