Why no dyno results of the torque output?

Default R2C 4.0 V-6 MaxxFlow CAI

test results and dyno chart are available on our web site.

http://www.r2cperformance.com/2005-08_mustang.html

We also tuned the system after the initial pulls. Tuning was performed by Bob Kurgan at Kurgan Motorsports.

Would your filter fit on other intakes? If so, do you guys sell them separately?

Default R2C Intakes and Filters

Thanks to all for your interest and your inquiries.

Yes, we do accept charge cards and the systems are in stock for immediate shipping. Dyno test information is available on our web site.

Avalanch3,

Our filters are available separately and will fit systems that utilize a 6" outlet venturi.

Sorry but I just see dyno charts that show HP. Also, looking at the link for MaxxFlow Cold Air Intake System 2005-2009 Mustang 4.0 V-6 in the What's New section links to a dyno chart for a 94-2004 GT. I'm looking for 4.0 V6 info here, not the V8.

Default R2C 4.0 V-6 CAI System

Thanks for for inquiries. If you haven't received a reply with your special price, please let us know.

As an answer to those of you that asked about the tuning process, we used an SCT xcal3on the 4.0 and we maintained regular fuel. Gains were approx 20RWHP. Premium fuel certainly may have provided an additional boost in tuned performance.

This intake seems very promising.

Thanks for your support and e-mail comments.

We spent a great deal of time in terms of engineering the systems for the 4.0 as well as the GT. We also had several of the prominent, competitive systems dyno tested during the same sessions with advantages to the R2C systems.

R2C will stand behind the performance and product quality claims associated with the systems offered to and discussed with, the members here.

Satisfaction Guarantee!

Simply put, if a member is unhappy with the gains achieved based on our extensive testing, or if the quality of our products does not meet with members satisfaction, R2C will refund, in full, the purchase price of the system.

Our goal is to engineer and manufacturer the finest intake systems and filters available to Mustang enthusiasts.

  • No Oiling
  • No Solvent Cleaning
  • Unmatched Engine Protection
  • Washable synthetic filters that last as long as the car with simple, compressed air maintenance

My cousin has this on his stang and he loves it! Says it's super easy to clean and install.
I've been stuck on the whole K&N style oil filters for awhile and finally gave in and tried their filters. I'm tired of washing my filter, drying it out and then oiling it etc etc.

I'm rocking one on my infiniti and the fit and finish are flawless. not your run of the mill made in bulk manufacturer type of filter.

I'm guessing if r2c was good enough to bag a military contract for tank filters... They should be great on civilian cars.

Here's the link to their group buy... It took me awhile to find the thread!
