If it makes you feel any better, my g/f drives mostly short, in-town trips with her DD '06 V6 and averages about 16-17 MPG around town. I take my '07 GT out for 60 mile cruises on mostly rural roads and I average about 21 MPG. Drives my g/f nutz.

About every 220 miles, I put in around 14 gallons...for a 15-16mpg average. I've had it 6 months and the mileage has always sucked. It just hit 30k...I may have to break down and have the dealership look at it before I run out of warranty.

lol well i feel like i've should've just bought a GT convertible lol....my friend takes trips from nj to delaware and usually averages 400+ so when I make the trip with him down....I'm going to feel a little weird about having to fill up 100+ before him.....just doesn't make sense why I get less mpgs then him

I average between 240-280 on 13 gallons of gas (I calculate how much gas uses between how much miles driven).

But then again. I like accelerating. Soo my MPG's suffer, but totally worth it.

On highway babying it I can get up to 27 MPG if I try real hard tho.

ah wow...I may have to try to do the trip to delaware without much WOT so I can see how I do on mpgs.....getting better gas mpg is the reason why i had gotten the V6 and for the color as well but if my buddy is getting better mpg with a v8 motor especially a convertible....then this sucks lol....I had the chance to own a Gt for the price of a V6 premium back in 06 just because it was a showroom model lol

yea, it would suck really bad if our V6s had worse mileage than the GTs...I would've worked harder for a GT instead in that case!
