Just take your time, and have a clear head (no hangover, or drinking etc), use a good jig saw with a metal blade don't try this with a cut off tool. There is an excellent template that comes with the CDC kit, just make sure you measure accurately several times. Put plenty of 3M painters tape on the hood to protect the paint. I used clear packing tape over the cut lines so the saw didn't rip or tear the template. I also cut through the underhood padding, the templeate and the hood at the same time, which is not the way the instructions suggest but I just thought it was easier. CDC suggests you make a scribe mark on the hood as you cut out the center of the template with a blade of some kind, I didn't do that either, because I cut through the template and the packing tape all at once.

lol well it depends on weather and time....so busy with full time school and part time work and then club events on the weekends lol......Christmas break or before looks like the time to do it unless I really need the money and have to sell it but if not I plan to make it work with my C & L

Did mine today with a C&L CAI on my V6. Just measure about a hundred times and you'll be ok. Now that I've seen the shroud cut away I'm going to do that.

how did you get the ford racing emblems on the shroud? Ford doesnt sell a shaker do they for the 6?

Yeah that's bad ass!! I wish mind said Ford Racing and not just the lame MUSTANG!!!

You got lucky there I wonder if they will all start coming like that now.
