Default Shaker System w/ Cold Air Intake? Possible?

I might be buying a Shaker System soon and would like it to work with my C&L Intake as well as finding whether I actually need to put the Shaker System Engine Dressup or not....i'd rather see my motor then the plastic

Just curious....thanks.

you'll have to modify the shaker air tube a bit, or the CAI, but people have done it, I've seen photos of it done. As for the engine cover, I dunno. You'll have to see if it's an integral part of the shaker scoop and go from there.

You'll have to adapt the shaker to your CAI yourself. It will cover your engine, but it mounts at the TB and on the intake. The rest of the plastic that covers the engine can be cut away. Though I have a v8, it's the same concept. See my sig....

Take a look at the pictures of the K&N set up for the Mach1 . The tube from the scoop fits into the heat sheild over the filter. I've got and on mine and it works just fine.

I already had a K&N CAI when I installed my shaker system so it was just a matter of a little fabrication to make it al work together. I am going to change to a JLT system pretty soon so I will have to do a little more fabrication but it's no big deal, and works great.

Cutting the hole in the hood is easy with the aluminum hood on these cars.
