+1 to the first 9 posts. Exhaust is all opinion, some drone more than others, some fit better than others, but really its all what you think sounds good on your ride. I have a full Borla X pipe dual kit and love it. Its not really loud but it has a really nice tone and little to no drone at all. I got it for a good deal otherwise I probably would have gone with the FRPP. Right now the Borla kit is selling for $1070, but I got it for alot less when I bought it.

If you aren't able to personally hear different setups one option is to set up the dual pipes and cross-over. Then try a set of mufflers, if you don't like it, sell 'em and get different ones. Mufflers are easy to change. Youtube is a good resource for listening to different setups, but the sounds are only as good as the microphone that recorded them.

Good luck

Can't beat the FRPP dual exhaust kit. Comes with ALL parts needed and is easy to install. Sounds great. Especially the GTAs when you get on it. Absolutely no drone!

I just got my ford racing kit here for 575.00 +19.00 shipping . They run a sale every weekend and drop the price to 575.00 instead of 639.00 . Thats the best deal I could find . http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.a...cd2=1256709286
I got them installed for 225.00 at the ford dealer nobody else would touch because you have to cut the bumper , I didn't want to mess it up so I let the professionals do it .
I think it was worth every penny for it , I also got the GTA muffles in my kit even though it says it comes with GTB's .

Those don't look like GTAs.. at least not from this angle. The GTAs have rolled-beveled 4 inch tips.... Those look like the 3 1/2 inch GTB mufflers.

I'm in the middle of swapping out my GT mufflers for Flowmaster AT's and it'll hopefully be done by the end of the week, I'll post an in depth video then. I'm running the single one now (the driver's side GT muffler was welded in, preventing me from swapping it out myself) and there's a definite improvement in volume and deepness.

They are 3 1/2 inch tips but I could have swore they had a number and GTA on them on the top of them . They do have this number on the bottom F180871253A , anyways they sound way better than my stock single .

I've heard the GTBs and they sound as sweet as the GTAs.

Thought id share... I took my car in for a transmission flush the other day.. and while sitting in the waiting area.. (pretty far away from the service bays...).. and i heard them start up a car with a nice exhaust note. I walked out of the waiting area to take a peek at what was making that sweet sound.. and it was my car

Made me happy.

LOL something like that happened to me too. I have a neighbor 2 houses down that has a GT with an OR-X and flowmaster or stingers and my other neighbords can't tell the difference when he or I leave. They just lump us together because both "sound loud" as they say

Well I am happy with what I have . I just did a look up on the web of the GTA mufflers and
I do in fact have the GTB muffles . I listened to some sound clips and I don't see (hear)
400.00 worth a difference . Thanks MrSandman for setting me straight !!!
