Default V6 07 Problems with Shaker after replacing battery

My Mustang 07 battery died, after several days of slow starting and radio resetting. I replaced it with a duralast, it works ok. The problem I have now is that when I turn on the headlight the stereo lighting (shaker 500) wont come on. AC controls light up, dashboard lights up; but the shaker 500 lights stay out. It works properly though, al radio stations an cds work regul;ary, just no light. That happened after I replaced the baterry... any ideas as to how to fix it??

Thanks

Shaker is crapola and probably is what killed the first battery...
Pull the shaker fuses (all of them) and see if the problem clears up.

Disconnect battery for a few minutes and allow the car and PCM to reset everything. Read the owners manual on the first start up for retraining the system.
