I have a redfire 07 mustang is the 08 apple candy red the same color with a different name. Also with the 05 sonic blue to the 06 vista blue. And if they are the same color why would ford change the names.

I have an 06 vista blue v6 and its not the same as sonic blue.
When i bought mine they wanted to sell me a sonic blue becasue they had one on the lot but i Just did not like that color AND I LOVE BLUEs. But then Vista came out and I was mad because i did not wait. But i love my car and would not change it if i could Even thou some of my friends think its a chick color
Ford comes out with shades similar but they have a slight variation in hues.
I have Vista Blue and saw a Sonic Blue stang parked next to mine, they are close, but different at the same time.

The only color I see Ford renamed was Code # D3 Colorado Red and Torch Red are the same. Why they felt like changing the name is any one's guess. Maybe they thought Torch Red sounded more sporty.
My 'stang is Silver Metallic, using the code of YN. You might want to add that one.
