Preferably, I would like navigation and a iPod hook-up. I can't spend over $500 though. That is my only problem. I would love to take the AVIC D3 but I can't spend the money. If it's cheap, fine...I would just like to check it out. Any suggestions at all would be a help because I'm sick of the Shaker 500.

Any of the Pioneer Premier nav units are nice. new models came out a few months back so last years F90BT, F900, and F700 are 50% or more off. the link I posted is the one I want, which is also the most expensive.
I have the Kenwood DNX5120 and absolutely love it. You can get them for under 500 on ebay. It even has DVD capabilities even though only used it once just to make sure it worked. I have an ipod cable that runs underneath the center console(cupholders) and it is connected to my ipod 24/7. I just leave it in there and just mess with the songs on the ipod interface. I installed this by myself and I had never done an type of audio work before. If you need I can show you pics
