Default Popped my Mod Cherry...v6 to GT brake setup..check it out!

I just finished mounting my rotors, pads and calipers. I made a few nicks in the paint during mounting, so I had to touch up a few spots. So now I'm just waiting for everything to dry before I mount the 17" GT Bullitts I painted for use this winter(painting in cold weather sucks!). I finally popped my mod cherry!!! I mean I added sequentials and a DVD/NAV unit...but those don't count. I'll post more pics after I finish everything. What do you guys think?

looks killer, where did you end up getting the caliper mounts ?

I had to think of you yesterday and the trouble you had trying to find them. Our local Craigslist had a gal selling some parts off her 07 GT. She bought the car and drove it to a shop where they pulled the brakes, exhaust, all the springs, did a front and rear fascia, Baer brakes, on and on and on. So I stopped over there and bought 2 new GT rotors and mounting calipers for $40. She still has struts, shock, F&R sways, quarter windows, stock automatic mufflers, emblems, etc.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'll be putting the tires on later tonight....paint really long to dry in the crappy, cold Pa weather. I got my stuff off TMS forums. I got a complete set of front calipers(including brackets and pads). They guy even threw in brake lines too lol....all of that shipped for $65, the shipping was bumped up to 2nd day for free too. Not too bad of a deal....but yours was good too. Sounds like she got bitten by the mod bug quick. Did the mods come out ok?

Hoped to get that done today, but this paint is taking forever to dry in this cold weather...hope to get everything mounted and torqued down tonight though.

Yes white...didn't want to be one of the drones out there with a plain look. Red or black would not have worked for me. I'm big on coordinating, so you tell me what other color would work on a black 'n white stang? Keep in mind the rotors and rims are already black lol

Thanks! The paint is G2 caliper paint and the Dimpled & Slotted black zinc coated rotors came from Rotorpros.....and the pads are Hawk HPS....I hate that pink grease...it really stands out next to a white caliper lol

Hi Top, I would like to see a pic of those rotors in a week. I'm curious as to how long they will stay black.

I'll be sure to take some. I'm concerned too. My original plan was to initially do this mod during the summer and have them behind my 20" Shelby Redlines while the rotors were still all black. That plan changed when I read up on what I needed to do suspension-wise before lowering my car. I was under the assumption that I would be ok just adding a set of Eibach pro's until I researched a little more. The internet is great!! But it sucks too because I keep increasing my mod list!!
