Nothing too serious, but still pissed off. I park my car on top of my college's garage 4 times a week for school, and the recent couple weeks my car has been getting vandalized.
This first couple times they removed my black panel off the rear of my car and put elsewhere, like on my door or the hood or on the ground.. Sometimes there is trash around or under the car.. or the gas tank was open [I have a locking one so no biggie] Just thought it was some stupid prank and didn't care.
Yesterday they did it again, and when I got home when I was cleaning my air filter I noticed a note slipped into my engine bay where the windshield wipers are, saying "Hey, you're ****ing annoying."
Most the people I park around are the kind of people who have been at community colleges for at least 4+ years and don't care about their lives. All they do is chill next to their cars day by day for hours.. most of them are JDM people (Japanese imports, like honda's, evo's, subaru's etc).
Now I have no idea why they have some vendetta against me and/or my car.. I come to school at 12:30pm everyday, and just go to class 4-6 hours then come back to my car.
So today I parked elsewhere, to find out that they STOLE the panel right off my car. They didn't throw it somewhere, they stole it. Tomorrow I am going to go to the Foothill/De Anza police and file a report, wish me luck.

That sucks bro. Hope the authority can do something about it.
My g/f works at the local college here, and the students' cars are always getting broke into in the garages, and the campus police can't do anything about it. Even though they have tons of officers and security patrolling around, they never seem to catch the ones who do it. It's almost a waste of resources.
Hell, the building she works in and the one next to hers, some guy waltzed in and stole personal belongings/wallets of faculty. And was caught on camera. And they still can't find the guy even though both situations were on two different times.
Better yet, have some friends hide in the trunk with some baseball bats, and when they here those jerks f'n with your car, they can jump out and open up some whoop ass.

I like this idea! Also like the idea of putting a camera in your back seat.
Why not install an alarm? Isn't there one that will text message you if it goes off?
I was worried about this to although I'm still in high school and I got one of those two way pager systems and if you just pull on the door handle hard when its locked it makes a warning sound so I would suggest one of those, also something that might help is just go talk to the guys that hang around about their cars and act like your interested even if your not
