Default Got some GT mufflers for free...now question

I got two GT manual mufflers for free recently and now i have this question...
Will I see relatively the same gains from stock GT h and mids as I would with an X.....as in no SOTP difference.....so less than 5whp difference....bc I can get GT mids for free too, if theh difference is neglidgable then there would be no point in paying 400 dollars for a catted X.

Thanks Guys.

Down the road I will be getting GTA's so the issue of the midpipe continues into the new mufflers down the road as well.

Oh and how much will it ccost would you guess is it gonna cost to change out tips on the mufflers.....I wanna do 4 inch rolled tips!

Any upgrade over the stock v6 muffler will net some gain. H or X or neither will not be much difference.

catless on the 60* 6er's imho sounds really really bad..... I had no cats and an H pipe with mac flowpaths and H/C/I on my last 6er before she blew up. best sounding v6 i or anyone else who ever heard it in person had every heard.
But it's so difficult to get a good sound with the 60* engines.....
