Default Steering stops for 18s and lowered

I have lowered my Stang with a set of Eibach Pro kit springs and I just bought a new set of GT500 wheels with 255/40x18 tires on the front. This should put me at the same (or close to) rolling diameter as stock. I went ahead a bought a set of Roush Steering Rack Stops but do I really need them?

05-09 or 2010 GT500 wheels?
Whats the offset stamped inside the spoke?
The tires should be 255/45-18.
Whomever put the 255/40-18s on there must have been on crack.
And yes, you need the stops, lowered or not lowered.
Installing them yourself is a big no go
as specialized steering rack boot clamps
and boot clamp pliers are needed.

If they're 18, they're 07/09 GT500.

They are 05-09 GT500s. And I must have been on crack when I typed the wheel size. The fronts are 255/45-18s and the rears are 285/40-18s.

I haven't received the wheels so I don't know the offset, but guess it doesn't matter either way. Well I'm getting 3.73 gears installed and a T-lok in two weeks. Guess I'll get them to install the steering stops as well. Was hoping to get them on before that.

Damn. I hate when my patience is tested.
