Another FRPP dual conversion person here. Click on the link(s) in my signature for the sound clip. It did not come with a heatshield for the gas line. btw.. If I was an issue, I am sure Ford would have provided a heatshield with their dual conversion kit.
That sounds incredible...I think I finally found the sound I am looking for!!!

Digging up this old thread to add my digital camera movie mode clip of the FRPP V6 duals conversion after a couple weeks and a few hundred miles - and a 10-run autocross and a 14-run eighth-mile drag racing event.
The first two are of the previous single exhaust with a GT takeoff muffler. In part One of the second (dual) pair of clips, you may see a lighted bus kiosk in the left side of the screen just before a WOT start; it's the same one in the single muffler road clip. Tradition, you know.
Microphone compression in cameras that only add sound as an afterthought is pretty much compressed, and when the exhaust isn't dominating, the road and wind noise comes in strong. Otherwise, the duals sound good, and you can hear more than startup-and-rev, to give an idea what it sounds like in other circumstances.
I just posted the new sound clips from the new "Blood" Line of exhaust systems from MagnaFlow. They are still in the testing phase and say they will have them for retail sale in early winter http://reignofblood.net/link.php?n=80220 its NASTY!
