Default GT takeoff mufflers or Ford Racing axleback?

Was wondering on what your opinions would be on which one you think I should get for my V6? Does anyone have a video or sound clip of a V6 with the takeoffs?

thanks

The following link is a sticky in the 4.0L Drivetrain sub-section. You should be able to find a sound clip there.

For the price, I went with a single GT take-off - LOVE IT!

+1 on the single Gt muffler. Ive had mine on for two weeks now and i could'nt be happier. Not annoyingly loud bud definatly deeper and louder than stock. Sounds really nice at idle when first started too.

I just bought a set of Gt take-offs from Chrisc last night can't wait till they come in. I will just be using a single for now since I don't have the cash or time to do a switch to duals. Any problems with the install of the single. Several people tell me its a straight match but this will be my first mod so I'm a little nervous.

i have the ford racing and i love it. If money is an issue though, go with the GT take-offs because from what i hear, a lot of people are satisfied with them. But again, I do love my ford racing axleback and I am glad I got it. It sounds better and better everyday.

Where did you purchase the single GT takeoff muffler and how much did it cost? Did you need to do any modification to make it fit?

Look up diversified marketing on ebay they sell a set for 50 bucks. I love the sound of the takeoffs on mine especially because it was less than 200 bucks for the full dual setup. I am going to be switching over to a ford racing setup though. Just not sure yet if I am going to fabricate a way to make the current one to be dual or go back to single. Been a tough decision
