at 1000 miles i finally hit wot, and at 1500 i got it up to 5500. With the engine turning 5500 rpms at wot i think its time to power shift. Do you guys take it to the redline and how often? And for the engineers, am i really helping my engine but cutting power at 5500?

what happenes if your redline is too high? lets say you set it at 7k

no, the highe redline, the more potential. but our valve springs arent strong enough, and actually start to lose power about 5500rpm. The only savin grace at that point is gearing.
7k on our engines would be an early grave.

You can see where your power line drops off on a dyno.... for me, it's aboot 6200... but in response to above, i have a limiter set at 6000 an my car rarely sees that.... i bought the engine once, i dont wanna buy it again...
