Default How could you do this.....

Is there anyway that you can force more air into the engine compartment to allowe the CAI to breath more? Such as a fender wall or lower grill tube to make more air come into the compartment. I know it sounds off the wall but I think I seen a picture with a tube coming from the frint gill and a hole in the fender (nicly done).
Is there any site that have info on this?
Please advise even if it to say no way.

Someone posted a few months ago on this topic. They ran a clothes dryer vent hose from the lower grille up to the area where the CAI is located. In theory, it should help cool things a bit and perhaps add a few ponies.

I did something like that. I got a flexible intake tube from auto zone and stuck it into the front cone shape part of my intake. Then I ran the tube into a hole behind the headlight where I know cold air comes in from under the car. It might have helped a little but it looks cool too. Ill try and get some pics of it for you if I can get a hold of a camera.

In theory, it's a ram-air application. Correct?

In theory that would make it a true CAI instead of a WAI.
