need help. tuner

Im about to put tune on my car with x calibrator it says first disconnect the fuel pump and electric fans. Do i need to do this and what do i do then.

i DIDN'T...JUST PUT YOUR KEY IN...DONT TURN IT OWN UNTIL IT TELLS YOU TO DO SO....PRETTY SIMPLE

my car wont start now with the custom tune, it starts but then the car dies. Is it because I have to put the cold air intake in first because i think the tunes are for the cold air intake.

Could be... if it's a tune for like a C&L and you didn't put in on you'ld be running incredibly rich!

and bein rich is good! no...just kidding. Yea if the tune is for a cai put it on. you shouldnt try to start it again without that cai on there it could cause some problems

ok thanks alot. Yea i didnt have time to put the C&L on because i got to go to school tommorow. so i Just tried to give it the tune. hope it just needs the c&l on there.
