Deafening??? Can you still hear it with music turned up while cruising? I just wish I could hear the MRT in person.

I would be really interested to see what would happen if you got and installed MRT's resonator.

Do you have any other performance mods? CAI+tuner?

apart form the drone it sounds great though, farts a bit at high rpms but thats allright... that stock muffler is HEAVY though and really not well put together, took some weight down putting the MRT in

It does it's job and gets rid of almost all the drone (if not all! LOL) in that 2500 RPM range... big difference...

the farts will become less and less noticable at the MRT "breaks in"... but don't expect it over night... does take a bit.. and the MRT will change tone multiple times... it just keeps sounding better and better!

Does the resonator hinder performance any?

I believe Scott said it really should not affect the performance gains of the Aero-Turbine... at least that's what I seem to remember him saying... but I could be all wrong... LOL! There was a S197 V6 at MRT the other day that had just got the MRT Aero-Turbine put on with one of the resonators... At idle it was noticably quieter, when you reved it it didn't fart at all and when the guy took off it still got pretty darn loud and sounded great!!! So if anyone is really unhappy with their MRT I would seriously call MRT and get one of their resonators!
