I just ordered my T-Lock and 373 gears, I guess there's a shortage of gears because they hvae a 10/14 ship date! Sucks to wait!

Ran into the same thing...I ordered mine during the first week of September and was told they wouldn't be in until the end of the month.

I got the Ford T-Lock and 373's coming from Summit Racing. Total cost is $416 shipped, which is pretty much standard. I have a connection at a place that will do the install for next to nothing (like $100) so that helped influence my decision! I'll post when the job is done but it will be about a month.

i hope you got FFRP gears cause it seems like alot of people are having problems installing anything but on the s197s, if not i would return them but i wouldnt of wasted my money on either in the first place

What is FFRP? ford racing? The ones I ordered are the Ford gears. Why do you say you wouldn't waste your money on either? Is there something I'm missing?

casue 5th gear is .72, and with a 27" tall tire you will be under 3000 rpms at 80 mph with 4.10s and still get atleast 24 mpg if you dont get an extreme case of leaditius, also, motive now makes fords 3.73s, which some people are having problems with them not getting installed right

also, my personal (<<notice this word so we dont get into a big argument again) experience with the t-lok hasnt been that great, even with the "stronger" 8.8 GT rear end one, i personally would go with a detroit true trac
