Resonators
I am going to be installing resonators when I do the install for my dual exhuast. Does it matter what kind I get or even what lenght I get. I tried to pm Flapjack but i could not get ahold of him. I intend to install them backwards and with a 3in. off set. What do you guys think?

RE: Resonators
With our mufflers being an axle-back, I assume your resonator(s) would be mounted behind the cat and ahead of the axle. Is there any benfit to adding resonators to our cars? Less raspy perhaps? I hadn't heard of anyone using them in a while, and any benefit of mounting them backwards I thought was an old wive's tale/urban legend. I hope others with more experience will add to the thread.

RE: Resonators
I don't have resonators, but I don't have mufflers either.
Instead I have true duals (no H or X), and glasspacks mid car.
I think the main problem with our cars, and the need for resonators, is where the mufflers are mounted.
Being at the far back of the car, the sound doesn't have any time to develope after hitting the muffler. So, some of the aftermarket mufflers have a drone of some nature that can be quite annoying.
I have no drone what so ever. The car sounds awesome. (Better than any recording I've heard of a V6, but hey, real life is almost always better than a recording)
From my experience, and that of what I've read others doing, moving the muffler (or whatever) mid car, is one of the best changes you can make. The exhaust note gets 4 or more feet to develope in a deep rich sound. No chirps. No drone.
Resonators would do about the same thing, but you may not end up needing (or wanting) a muffler once you hear the tone.
