Just want to know. Which is the best supercharger out there to give my little ride more power? I would like to get this pony near the 400 hp range. I am open to suggestions on any changes that I would have to make. Reason for this. There is not another sports car that lines up next 2 me that just starts roaring it engine. And me being who I am, I just do not turn down a challenge. Only lost to another V8 mustang the other were bad dirvers. I am open to any ideas. I am sure that there are other pony owners out there that have already done this to their V6 4.0L ride. Please let me know.

vortech and pocharger can both put you at like 340 or so hp at 10 psi. If you really want 400hp id say go with aa powerhouse turbo. But if you really want a sc vortech or prochargerprobably at 12-14 psi can get you there. Also remember this is 400hp at the crank. 400 HP to wheels is gonna need you to build the motor alot
Also there is the xcharger but i dont think it will get you too 400hp but is also a nice kit
There is always a lot of talk on this topic.... as to the XCharger, it is a positive displacement type supercharger. It's main benefit is that is produces a ton of low RPM torque. But, it does not do as well on total HP.
An XCharger will probably get you 280+ at the wheels, which is like 325 at the crank. You will be able to beat stock GT's, and have much more low end torque. If you are looking for a car mainly to street drive, the XCharger is good.
If you are trying to build a track car, you want a turbo. If you are looking for a street car that you race a little, maybe the Procharger or Vortech.... or, either will do if you are looking for street car.
XCharger will be the easiest to install, it sits on top of the engine and does NOT have an intercooler. THis limits its boost level, and explains why you will be limited to 280 HP at the wheels.
