Default Might need a new tranny?

Hey everyone, first post on this website, im liking all the info y'all have ... anyways lets say hypothetically i plan on ending up somewhere around 5 or 6 hundred horsepower in my v6 premium coupe ... i want to go with a t-lock girdle and gears in the rear end from SSM and possibly an aluminum driveshaft but i was wondering if anyone had any recomendations on a transmission .. i was looking into either a take-off 05 gt tranny or maybe even a t-56 if it will work ... any advice y'all can give is greatly appreciated

no no.

600 horses= very very bad for a 7.5 in rear end. you are going to want to go to at least an 8.8 in rear end. you will need some sort of driveshaft also. and yea i would go with something like a t-56 for the tranny, but you are talking a built motor here if you want 600 horses.
