My car went into "limp-home" mode (two weeks ago) from a hard acceleration in 4th gear which caused the light to come on. I connected my scan tool and it came up with a "throttle/pedal position sensor" issue. DTC - P061B Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance
Has anyone delt with this issue in the past? My car is out of warranty, so I am trying to fix it myself in a shop if I can. Or atleast so I can know what to expect.
i had that for the longest time then i got the money to replace the tps and hasnt done it since 90 bucks for a new one from the dealer.
I am going to do that also because the first two times it went on "limp-home" mode the codes were TPS related. Then this last time it was this P061B code. I'll update on here late on down the road to see if it went away or not. Thanks.
