The thread is over 10 years old and most people used photobucket as a host for pictures. Photobucket then decided that you couldn't share your pictures any longer leading to broken links and images not being available. Those that were put up on the site may have been deleted by the user from their album to give them more space for pictures. Any number of reasons why in the past decade the pictures may have disappeared.
