I have a 23 mile round trip to work with about 50/50 highway/city. I get about 21.8. I recently took a 750 mile roady and got 26-28 with cruise set at 73mhp. I also don't drive like I stole it. haha. My car was totally stock until my new exhaust yesterday, now I don't know exactly what I'll get.

I drive 60 miles to work on the freeway, so with my K&N intake and FRPP muffler, I average about 28mph. When I'm just putzing around in the neighborhood, it's closer to 17. Also, I don't do any jackrabbit starts or burnouts, so that probably helps with mileage - and tires.

I have an '08 V6 5 speed and I average 24 mpg combined city/hwy. Took a 375 mile trip a couple weeks ago and got 29 mpg. with cruise set at 73 mph. Made it there in one tank though I was on fumes.

I get between 19-20 mpg and this is a mixture of highway and city driving. Grant it, I dont push it all the time, but occasionally I floor it here and there and I always stay in my 19-20 range.

I got up to 20mpg average the other day by doing some highway driving so its probably just my city driving combined with my lead foot thats causing my low mileage.

My stang is a daily driver. I drive about 20 miles in stop and go traffic. I avg. 20 mpg. I took it on a road trip the other day and ran about 70-75 mph. I got 25 mpg. I was very happy with that.

Glad I found this thread. When I bought my 08 a month ago I was not expecting much in the way of mileage, but I am getting a legitimate 19+ around town. Thought that was high, and actually started to wonder if it was running lean or something. I drive conservatively, but do occasionally like to hear the exhaust at high rpms. I am delighted!

Last time I filled up I got 23 mpg for mostly city driving. Granted I don't live in a metropolis, but there are a lot of stop lights. I haven't taken it on a long trip yet.

you got a mustang, MPG shouldnt have been really high on the list when u were buying it. but on a more somber note, on a recent trip coming back from el paso. i averaged 26mpg @ 80-90mph on I-10 useing the crusie control the whole way. i finally ran out of gas at 420.1 miles. by the time i filled up at the next gas station, i was on fumes. it took all 16.1 gallons of gas to fill up. myb if i do 65mph i can get it over 30mpg and myb squeeze out another 50 miles or so.
