no you dont have to. You can just unbolt all the hangers and drop the muffler down. then you can pop um off and slid them into the new gt takeoff. and rebolt it up.

Finished but man it payed off........I went and saw three friends that love civic and they said it sounds equal or even better than a v8......man was that worth it

Be sure the midpipe-to-axleback joint is in as far as it'll go and that the clamp is torqued good and tight (REALLY tight). Then check to make sure none of the hangers are making contact with anything and that THEY'RE all tight.

I hope after all that trouble that its a GT M/T take-off
and not a GT AUTO tranny take-off muff....

The mufflers off a GT automatic vs those off of a GT with manual are different. Those off the manual are a bit less restrictive. Don't know WHY but they are.

They sound totally different....
GT AUTO take-off sounds same as
V6 M/T muffler. Why bother swapping them?
You need pics of the internals as well?

yeah that is a mega huge difference, thank you for bestowing your internets upon me. Ill never question the diversity of GT takeoffs ever again. you changed my life, please keep posting more internets knowledge to me.
