On out vert, I hung the rear-end of the car over the curb by slightly missing the exit of my driveway (backing out), keeping the tire on top of the curb. This created plenty of room in the gutter to yank the old muffler out and install the new one (minus one hanger). 30 minute job - tops. On my coupe, our 12yo son used a jack and replaced the muffler by himself. Just be safe and use a good jack/stands if you can.
You can check the manual to see the proper lifting locations for the jack, but basically there's a vertical seem than runs along the rocker panel, and ahead of the rear tire you will see a notch showing you where to place the jack. The rocker should also have a recessed area in the same spot.

Are you just installing the passenger side axleback? +1 on no jacking needed, but it WILL give you a little more working room. Sometimed slipping the midpipe to axleback joint out takes some wiggling of the muffler and the more room the better. I have a set of Rhino ramps that I use very frequently. Otherwise, if you need more room, I second the hang-the-back-end-off-the-curb. Did that in my younger and more financially strapped days.

ok so i have all the bolts off right now and Im trying to finish this before dark so ...I cant get the midpipe out its like really in there....should i just pull hard as hell or whats a way of getting it to slip out?......hurry please
Spray some WD-40 in ther and give it a little time to work. Try and spread the joint open some and work the pipe back and forth in a twisting motion to lossen it up. Assuming yu don't have an Oxy/Acetylene torch use a little propane torch to add a little heat to the joint. It should come free for you with out too much trouble.
