I'm pretty new to cars and I have been trying to figure out what I should do for my mustang that will give me the most power but w/o hurting my mileage or engine. My friend recommended a supercharger with a good tuning package to make up for the mpg lost. I wanted to maintain the basic look and put all my money into HP or torque gains. What is the best thing I can do? I also wanted to convert my car to true dual exhaust because I think the single exhaust looks lame and I want a bigger sound w/e being Rice. Any1 know any good mods or anything which can help my Sixxer go faster and be meaner? Also I don't want any "Get a GT" responses because this car was a gift and I dont have any other options.

Well definitely get at least a CAI and Tune, I know Brenspeed and Bamachips have packages for the 2010. I'd usually also recommend the X-Charger supercharger for sixxers wanting lots of power, but I don't think there's a kit for the 2010 yet. There isn't one listed on their website

That's true, I just don't want to be liable if he orders it and something goes wrong lol

Is it worth it to even modify my 4.0? Will I still be out preformed by other vehicles because of the low RPM limit? If I slapped a charger on my car and tuned it, how much HP would/could I be looking at?
Yeah its worth it, look around and you'll find lots of testimonials from people with the X-Charger set up. I forget the exact numbers but know that you can definitely beat a stock GT with ease if you're running the X-Charger. There are a couple of guys pulling truly stunning power out of the V6, though it does take more work than the V8 platform, obviously

There will ALWAYS be somebody faster than you, even if you drop in a GT500 engine. Is it worth it to modify the 4.0L? Maybe. It depends what your goals are. If you are looking for improved performance, you can stay naturally aspirated with CAI/tune, gears/LSD, alum driveshaft, LCA's, better tires, etc and run low 14's in the quarter mile. I did that with my 2006 PP coupe and ran a best of 14.312, which surprised a few higher HP cars at the track who couldn't get their car to run any quicker. If you want to go faster, you can add a supercharger or turbo - expect to have a 12-sec car then (perhaps better with the right set-up). There is something to be said about making the underdog V6 outperform other cars. However, if that's not quick enough for you, then you could transplant a 4.6L or 5.4L (3v or 4v), keep it NA or FI, and go hunting for some really fast ET's.
If the last situation sounds like where you think you'll end up, then don't bother modding the 4.0L. Save up your money, set parts aside as you go, and then do the transplant when the time is right. You could waste alot of money modding a 4.0L if you think you'll end up doing a motor transplant.

I personally won't do a supercharger. I've done some piddly bolt ons because I, personally, can't justify spending 4 grand on a supercharger...that's a DP on a GT. But its up to you. Try getting a hold of the folks who make the xcharger and ask them if they have installed their kit on a 2010.
