Default 09 v6 mods so far. How will they effect?

Ok I have so far my 09 v6. A set of GT take off front and rear sway bars. A stock GT rear spoiler. I also have a C&L CAI, Pypes fully polished axle back from a GT only using the one for now. will be getting the SCT X3 tunner. Also getting friday a BBK TB. How will the current parts I have effect fuel milage and 1/4 mile times? And how will these mods work for better perfomance on the street? Future mods not purchased yet include a Zex Wet Nitrous kit, 3:73 gears anda T-Lok for the 7.5. Thanks for the great site guys.

Save your money on the TB.. it isn't worth it.

Are you running a C&L CAI without a tune right now?

if you're CAI doesn't require a tune, get a new one. (flame war begin)

Also for the rear end, if you're going to run nitrous I would recommend an 8.8" GT take off. you can buy them with a t-lok and 3.73 gears installed. our drive lines are only rated for just over our governor limited speeds people have shattered them on drag strips and dynos.

you should see better gas mileage if you don't change your driving style. I found that i can get 29+mpg now but that extra power keeps me around 25-26mpg.

as for 1/4, you might see -.5s tops with your current mods and a tune.

TB is a waste of money right now because our plenums aren't going to get any more air in them by going out this tb unless you bore out the opening on the plenum to match the TB.

Remember you aren't forced induction and you're not going to suck air as much as a larger displacement engine.

If you are serious about your v6 why not go x-charger and some cams and heads? expensive but you'll be running with lightly modded GT's and not have to fill a bottle every time you want to use that power.

I cant afford a super charger or I would. I have had a few turbo and super charged cars loved them. right now Iam trying to make this a fun street car that I can drive everyday. If I wanna eat a GT or 2 all I have to do is open the garage and get this baby out.See link below.

I have not put the C&L on yet cause I dont have a tunner and figured it be a waste. I did however have the Pypes Violater installed today. For now Iam enjoying the new sound. Well gonna be another month or two before I can got to the local shop I was refered to that does in house dyno tuning on these cars so the CAI, tune, and tunner will have to wait. I over spent this month so Mods gonna have to be put on hold.
Thanks
Jeff

make sure you don't use that CAI without the tune or you'll get and engine light for running lean. I would also recommend getting a rear sway bar to tighten it up a bit.
