The more popular ones are Steeda, C&L Street, C&L Racer, JLT, BBK. There are other decent ones. Performance wise, all of the CAI's that require a tune are equivalent in performance. Buy what suits your wallet and eyes.

I actually ordered the ford racing duals and I was thinking about getting the FR1 kit which includes a K&N air filter and a ProCal tune. All of this adds 15HP according to them. And its comes with a 1 year warranty. Also I contacted Roush to see if I could put the 05-09 CAI on my 2010 and they said that I could not because the air box is a different size. I just have one question for all of those who switched to dual exhaust and used tuners with premium octane, How does all of this affect your gas? I use mine for everyday driving so I dont want to do too much to decrease the fuel economy.

Your gas mileage will get better, not worse. The Tunable Induction site has them for 2010 V6s. Trust me, it's top notch.

A tuner, cai and performance exhaust is probably the best first mods you can do to your 4.0 V6. Around town driving is so improved it was hard to believe its the same car! Throttle responce and automatic shifts(especially downshifts)were greatly improved. However the added power did make not having T-lok a problem. My around town gas mileage is still basically the same as when stock which is 17-19 mpg. My highway mileage went from a best of 25 mpg to 29.1 mpg! Even with the addition of the 3.55s I still got 27.6 mpg highway. I also installed the FRPP dual exhaust kit but it had no effect on mileage. They do look and sound great though. The Ford cai looks great BUT you only get the 93 tune. It is nice to have the ability to burn 87 if need be. You can now buy the Ford cai WITHOUT the ProCal so you can use any tuner.

Your tuner will allow you to return the vehicle to stock. If you need to take it to the dealer, just return it to stock before you take it in.

NO, unless the dealership can PROVE that the tune caused the problem that you brought it in for.

It sounds to me like everyone is trying to re-invent the wheel when this has been covered a million times already.

No a tuner won't void your warranty. But do some research before taking it in for service.

The DeMolet CAI is not the top of the line CAI. Every site will advertise that theirs has the "most gains" etc etc.

Go look up a reputable tuner such as bamachips, brenspeed, evo etc. Bama and Brenspeed are highly recommend among the S197 community, and they both offer C&L CAI's which are also highly recommended.
